Installation
Getting set up
Three steps, once. After that, every library you buy lands in the same place.
- Step 1
Install KeyEngine
Download the installer for your system and run it. KeyEngine installs as a VST3, AU and AAX plugin, so your DAW finds it the next time it scans for plugins.
- Step 2
Choose where libraries live
Open KeyEngine, click Configure Settings, and set your default library folder. Sample libraries are large, so this can be an external drive. Every library you add installs there.
- Step 3
Add a library
Open the file you received with your purchase, and the library appears in the KeyEngine browser. There is no separate installer and no second plugin to scan for.
